Lead Kotlin App Developer

On behalf of a client, we are searching for a Lead Kotlin Multiplatform App Developer who will play a vital role in bridging the Software Architect and app development team.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of app features in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Ensure code quality through reviews and assist the team with design challenges.
• Manage the transition from two native codebases to a shared Kotlin Multiplatform project.
• Increase automated test coverage and improve architecture, code quality, and reliability.
• Deliver product features as needed.

Must haves

• Experience as a development lead.
• Quality-focused mindset, including unit testing.
• Strong software development skills, particularly in Kotlin.
• Extensive experience with mobile development.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with C#/.NET

Nice to haves

• Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. under IEC 62304).
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose UI.
• Experience with integration to backend APIs and Bluetooth devices.
