Senior Full-stack Developer - Front-End Focus

We seek a versatile Full-stack Web Developer passionate about UI development to join our team. In this role, you will build a visually appealing, performant, and SEO-friendly web application Front-end with server-side rendering support. You will integrate with our Back End through an open API specification maintained by a separate team and collaborate with other teams to fill in any gaps.

You will join a leading, global provider of video management software and be part of our innovative and entrepreneurial development team. Our mission is to build a suite of services surrounding a responsible video data library leveraging compliant, quality and ethically sourced video data. Your Responsibilities:

• Work and maintain our existing web platform
• Design and develop dynamic web applications that blend functionality with visual appeal.
• Enhance application performance for scalability and speed.
• Integrate third-party analytics and marketing tools to gather insights and drive data-driven decisions.
• Implement features that comply with digital accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Oversee the integration of APIs and external data sources to extend app functionality.
• Maintain and improve code quality through regular code reviews and refactoring.

Are you the right candidate?

We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in data engineering, video processing, and automation. You should be passionate about building robust, scalable systems and have a deep understanding of video data workflows. Key qualifications include:

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Next.js, React, and AWS Lambda, with a thorough understanding of Server-Side Rendering (sst.dev)
• Proficient with TailwindCSS, Material-UI (MUI.com), and a keen sense of UI/UX design.
• Strong skills in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and contemporary web standards.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and microservices applications.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team environment.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with a proven track record of leading projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire web development process, from design to deployment.
• Proficient in project management with outstanding communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Experience using headless CMS platforms, ideally Tina.io, for streamlined content management.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
