Senior Frontend Developer at ZeroNorth

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Operator business unit and play a crucial role in our journey towards a greener planet. As part of our team, you'll leverage your skills in frontend development to optimise operational efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of maritime operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontend applications within our Operator business unit.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, and backend engineers) to design and implement robust, user-friendly systems.

• Build and maintain reusable frontend components based on our design system, utilizing Storybook to ensure consistency and quality.

• Proactively contribute ideas and identify opportunities for improvement in our existing codebase and workflows.

Your profile:

• Proven experience as a Senior Frontend Developer, with a strong background in React and TypeScript.

• Ideally, Next.js, Vite, Redux, and Tailwind CSS are part of your toolkit.

• Experience with "back of the frontend" technologies, such as Node.js or C#, is a significant plus.

• Experience with building reusable frontend components based on a design system and a desire to extend and maintain our existing design system that uses Storybook.

• Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, and infrastructure-as-code principles.

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Vitest) is an advantage.

• Prior experience with offline Progressive Web Apps (PWA) is beneficial, since part of our product is used on ships without an internet connection.

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field; relevant certifications in frontend technologies are a plus.
