The Technical Project Manager has the responsibility for the overall technical delivery of the project and for managing the project schedule, scope, changes, risk, budget, and quality of execution.

This is an excellent opportunity to manage a multidisciplinary project team on a global Data Historian deployment. The successful candidate will work with internal and client stakeholders, and vendors to deliver the project. The Project Manager will report into the Cognizant Regional Delivery Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning, Scheduling, Task Coordination, and Reporting
• Budget and Cost Management, Change Management
• Resource Management of Technical project team
• Stakeholder Communication and Management
• Risk Management and identifying potential contingency plans
• Responsible for the Quality of the technical project delivery
• Ensure that SDLC is appropriately applied

Qualifications

• Extensive project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally using both waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Experience working with Aveva-PI system, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry, either as a developer or end-user.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP) related to data integrity and computerized systems validation.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, including batch processing, equipment automation, and data acquisition systems.
• Proficiency in data engineering concepts, data integration, and data management best practices.
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of projects, including active participation in Project Steering teams
• Executive, Program level Communication
• Decision Making, Risk & Conflict Management
• Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.

Nice-to-have

• Previous experience in working with other data historians, PLC/SCADA systems, connectivity to data sources, and interfacing to MES.
• Experience of Visualization and reporting tools (e.g; Power BI)
