We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and bringing interactive applications to life. This role places you at the heart of our APPRETIO platform - our commitment to revolutionizing merchandising through data-driven solutions.

YOUR TEAM
You will join the dynamic Data & Analytics department, a vibrant community of over 50 professionals passionate about driving the digital agenda at BESTSELLER. Within the APPRETIO product team of 12 professionals, you will focus on frontend development, ensuring seamless, high-quality user experiences across our applications.

YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in the development of interactive AI solutions that form the backbone of our data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with backend developers, data scientists, and product managers to build and optimize applications that revolutionize business operations and strategy.

YOUR IMPACT
In your capacity as a frontend developer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend features for AI-driven applications.
• Build intuitive user interfaces with technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Focus on UI/UX best practices to maximize user satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaborate with backend teams to ensure smooth integration of frontend and backend components.
• Monitor, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Engage with product managers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.

YOUR PROFILE
You are an energetic, proactive team player passionate about frontend development and creating engaging user interfaces. You can recognize yourself in most of the following statements:

• A degree in computer science, software en gineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind, TypeScript, and React.
• Familiarity with Python a nd containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and building/maintaining production-grade web applications.
• A keen interest in UI/UX and optimizing user experiences.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

The following qualifications would also be an advantage:

• Experience with cloud computing services (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Interest in AI applications and their integration into user-facing features.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their practical applications in a business context.
• Knowledge about translating business processes into tangible application elements.
• Knowledge about data visualization tools such as Plotly Dash or Streamlit.

WORK LOCATION
Your primary workplace will be at our vibrant office in Aarhus.
